About Me: A Journey Through Tech and Creativity

Hi there! My name is Volodymyr, and I've spent over 15 years immersed in the world of web development. I grew up in Ukraine, and after recent challenges, my family and I relocated to Ireland. Though we're grateful to be safe, we dream of returning home soon. But wherever we are, my passion for tech and my love for building things has kept me going. Let me share a bit about my journey.

From an early start in PHP, HTML, CSS, and jQuery, I've evolved into a well-rounded developer, building complex projects and custom solutions. Over the years, I've put all my experience and creativity into developing my own CMS, Celena. It has become the foundation for many unique projects, including two marketplaces that I'm incredibly proud of: posluga.net.ua, a marketplace for auto services in Ukraine, and bestservice.ie for Ireland. My CMS is like my signature tool—constantly evolving, adapting, and being upgraded to meet the needs of different clients.

One of the reasons I love web development is the ability to solve real problems through code. Celena is more than just a CMS to me; it's the embodiment of how I think about simplicity, flexibility, and empowerment for users. I want my software to make things easier for small business owners, who can use it to expand their online presence without drowning in technical challenges.

Outside of coding, I also find joy in drawing, though my busy schedule with projects keeps me from it these days. Nonetheless, creativity still fuels everything I do—whether it's designing a marketplace or sketching a scene. Recently, I added a new project called ‘Krendel’ to the portfolio of Celena—an online store for culinary and confectionery products. Every project, like every line of code, is a step towards fulfilling my dream of building tools that help people.

Right now, I'm deeply committed to making my projects a success. My marketplaces are constantly evolving, and my aim is to ensure they become not only useful platforms for their audiences but also sustainable businesses. I'm also exploring new technologies and expanding my skill set—specifically learning Flutter, as I want to develop cross-platform applications for online stores, something I'm excited about as I continue to innovate.

I believe in using technology for positive change, whether that's creating a marketplace that brings people together or providing simple tools for others to build their dreams.
